Epsilon supports sharing of workflows between various related (parent and child) and unrelated groups. You can share workflows with other groups in the following ways:
Sharing with a child group: When you share a workflow with child groups, you can grant "Read", "Write", and "Execute" access to a child group. You can also control viewing options of the child group; ie. determine whether the child group can view individual tasks of a workflow or view the output of individual tasks of a workflow.
Sharing with a unrelated group: You can set "Read" and "Execute" access for an unrelated group by publishing the workflow as a self service application (SSA). You can also control the viewing options of the unrelated group by determining whether the group can view workflow details and logs. SSA is a core feature of Epsilon. See additional information about SSA on the Epsilon Support portal.
Complete the following steps to share a workflow in Epsilon:
Click the Workflows tab and then click the Edit icon corresponding to the workflow that you wish to share.
On the Editing Workflows page, click the Security tab, and then click Add SSA.
In the Group column, select the group with which you want to share the workflow.
In the Self Service column, click the Not-Enabled toggle button to change it to SSA.
Select all the checkboxes in the remaining columns to enable these permissions for the users of the selected group.
Click Save Workflow and log out of Epsilon.
Now log in as user of the second group, the one with which you want to share your workflow.
Click the workflow and then click Start on the next page to run the workflow.
Click the task in the workflow to view its output. On the Information tab of the output screen, the user can view the details of the group that owns the workflow, the group with which the workflow was shared, and the name of the user who ran the workflow.
