Creating an Entity

Complete the following steps to create an entity:

• Click the Entities tab. The Entities page opens.

• Click Create New Entity. The Adding new Entity page opens.

• Enter the details of the entity. Select a Type from the following options:

  • Database
  • Web Server
  • LDAP Server
  • Other

• Click Add Entity. The new entity displays on the Entities page.

Note: You can make an entity a child of another entity. To do this, click an entity name on the Entities page and select a parent entity from the Parent Entity dropdown. Click Save to complete the process.
