Complete the following steps to create a widget:
Click the Dashboard tab.
On the Dashboard page, click the New Widget button. The New Dashboard window opens.
Enter the following information for the widget in the New Dashboard window:
- Name: Enter a name for the widget. For example: Non-compliance report.
- Description: Enter a brief description about the widget. This is optional.
- Table: Enter the name of the table from which you want to display information in the widget. For example: Report_status. This information is mandatory.
- Columns: Select the columns of the table that you want to display in the widget. Use the “+” or “-“ icon to add or remove columns.
- Query: Set filters on the information that is displayed. Use the “+” or “-“ icon to add or remove queries.
- Order by: Set the order on a column in which you wish to display information.
- Offset: Specify the number of records that must be skipped when the records are displayed. The default value is 0.
- Limit: Specify the maximum number of records that can be displayed. The default value is 1000.
- Frequency: Set the frequency at which information in the widget should be refreshed. The default value is 120 seconds.
Click Save. The widget is displayed on the dashboard.
